Scene Management

This class is open to all emergency personnel

                                No experience necessary                                

This class is required to complete the Intermediate and Advanced Extrication courses, attendees fees are included in their tuition.

Subjects to be addressed include: 

• Size-up; a four part process
• Apparatus placement
• Traffic and crowd management (proper inter action with PD)
• The responsibilities of the IC
• Work area organization
• Managing your resources (Ambulances, Medivac Flights, Wreckers, Hazmat Teams, etc.)
• Managing the media
• Setting up LZ, and loading patients (Care Flite and Phi Air Ambulances (helicopters) will be on site.
